During the 2024 Convocation, we operated 8 waste-sorting stations to promote sustainability, educating students on proper landfill, recycling, and food waste practices. This effort raised environmental awareness and fostered a culture of responsibility and collective action.

Missouri's first Black city — Kinloch —Earth Day clean up

To advance community stewardship in water preservation, we worked alongside earthday365 and Metropolitan Congregations United for an impactful Earth Day clean-up in Kinloch, Missouri. Together, we collected over 20 bags of trash from roads and drainage ditches.

Pre-K Weekly Water Education

Fostering future water leaders in St. Louis

Every week for 6 months, we visited the H F Epstein Hebrew Academy to educate 16 pre-k students on the topic of water and the environment, fostering an early appreciation for nature and sustainability among the young learners.

We even got a tour of the planned sewage incinerator upgrade to reduce Combined Sewer Overflows in St. Louis due to aging water infrastructure and inadequate Stormwater Pollution Prevention measures.
